Goodbye and See You Soon.

A lot of people must be very curious when look at my blog title... Yes, I got my working visa to New Zealand for at least half years. I will depart from Malaysia on the middle of March. This is a big decision for me. That's mean I will leave on Malaysia and I'm not able to join local art market in this year.

In the past two years, I met a lot of good people. I joined couch surfing, I met new friends from different countries, I heard fantastic stories from my surfers --- until now, it will be a small step for big challenge, I will carry my backpack and travel to another country that I'm not familiar with. Discovering the world, exploring as much as I can. In the meantime, I will keep on drawing! Chinese New Year Cards

As usual, I did some Chinese New Year cards for spreading my message of love to my friends. I'm not able to handle more than hundred of cards, so I decided not to open this activity to public except my family and good friends.

2012 symbolizes the most unpredictable year to people. People are discussing about the rumors of end of the world in recent decades. Is it true? No one knows the answer. The past is history. The future is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present. We should live in the present moment. I suggest that we should not think about and appreciate what you have now. 

The reason which motivate me to spread my blessing every year is Life. Life is about the people you meet, and the things you go through with them. Even though sometimes you spend so little time with some of your friends. I miss my friends, do you?

I made cards by my own hand. 

Hopefully you will feel warm and happy when you receive them. A brand new year ahead of us. Happy Chinese New Year to everyone :)

The card must be face to the back of envelope. We have to leave the blank side for address because postman might get dazzled by the design...

It has been a long time since my last update. Pretty busy working recently, how about you?  I'm planing some big plan for my next year, although it's a bit difficult for me, but it's worth to take a risk. I will update in my blog if I'm able to make it!

Some new brooches are available in my ETSY now. They are made of shrink plastic and felt. The flower shape took me a lot of time to complete. But I'm quite satisfy with the result :) How about your thinking? Do you like them?

Today is Mid Winter. For Chinese people, we eat Tang Yuan for celebration. Tang Yuan symbolizes 'sweet reunion' --- It is kind of round shape glutinous rice flour and symbol of harmony and unity within the family. I will have it later, so happy!

Beware of Ureka by The 12

UPDATE: I received my sale reports at night. But he sent me 10 reports and require me to calculate the amount myself. We need to pay 41% as commission for their lame service! I believe more artists haven't get the reports and payment yet!


Please tag your artist friends in my FB note as well, remind them never consign their works in this shop! I don't want to see any artists trapped by THE 12 with bad service, bad attitude. Local artists should fight together, stand up for our right!

Dear fellow, I want to share a news to create awareness among independent artists.

I started to consign my works by invitation in Ureka by The 12, Fahrenheit 88 from April 2011. It should be a great thing for independent artists, because our works get more exposure to the mass.

They promised to provide us sale report week by week. Luckily, I received my first payment on June. On July, due to the lack of manpower within the store, they will only issue out the sales payment once a month. Unfortunately, I have never received either sale report or payment until my withdrawn on Oct.

According to the person in charge, he won't owe people money. The most ridiculous thing is I have to sent few emails to ask my money back! He promised to bank in my payment in every mails. Until now, no miracle appears in my bank. There is nothing I can do. I'm just an independent artist. We appreciate people who love our arts, respect our works. Please get out if you just want to make big money with our works. I have no money to hire a lawyer to fight back. I can only share this to let more people beware of this company.
